(this page is best viewed on a laptop or tablet)

    Safe Space

Many cruise lines, particularly Celebrity Cruises and Virgin Voyages promote a safe space for all onboard.

    Weddings

Some cruise lines offer same sex marriages, this all depends on where the ship is registered. more info below.

    Meet Ups

More and more cruise lines host LGBTQ+ meet ups. its a great way to meet friends for the cruise and for life.

    Virgin Voyages

Pride themselves on being friendly not just to the LGBTQ+ community, but to all communities regardless of race, gender, or sexual orientation. You're invited to come as you are!

    Celebrity Cruises

    Making History

Watch Francisco Vargas and Benjamin Gray's story with Celebrity Cruises here

    Hear their story here

Royal Caribbean: On the cruises I’ve been on with them they have always appeared to be LGBTQ friendly, the flag flies upon deck and they have meet ups in the evenings

     David • @David.weston.737

Norwegian Cruise Line : NCL has always been fantastic & I never felt insecure. The only negative was the twin beds

     Sean • @Seanc_mcr

Virgin Voyages: Embrace everyone equally & create a vibe that's both safe and fun

     Ben + Gareth • @getlostwithbenandgareth

Marella Cruises: Marella Explorer felt very safe, included and engaged

    Adam • @adams_adventures24

Celebrity Cruises:  We’ve done two celebrity cruises in the last two years and they have been the best experiences. Always felt so inclusive, safe and so much fun.

    Joel • @joelcock

Virgin Voyages: doesn’t have ‘LGBT’ meet ups like other cruise lines, simply because they don’t need too! One of their mottos is ‘come as you are’ wear what you want, love who you want & cruise how you want. Plus they have The Diva on every ship, what says gay rights more than a Drag Queen!?

    Thom • @Thomjamesmcc

Cunard: seemed LGBTQ+ friendly to us, we had zero issues with crew - all seemed welcoming and friendly

     Chris • @chrispm87

P&O Cruises: it’s the small things that matter like when having your photo taken by the photographers and them asking the relationship. When we have said husbands previously there was no difference in their mannerisms to us and this made us feel “normalised”

     David • @davidcopleymartin

Celebrity Cruises: We feel at home onboard and most importantly comfortable to be ourselves and relax on holiday.  We'd never expect to encounter hostility by fellow travellers, but if it did happen Celebrity Cruises wouldn't tolerate it.

     Tom • @Vitaminsea.uk

Royal Caribbean + Celebrity Cruises: We find these cruise lines to be very inclusive, given there are a number of activities target to LGBTQ+. However what we appreciate is that there is no pressure to take part in the LGBTQ+ themed activities. We can choose what we like and go at our own pace.
