Loyalty just got easier across Royal Caribbean Group brands

Starting in early 2026, Royal Caribbean Group will make it easier than ever for travellers to earn and use loyalty points across its cruise lines. A new initiative called Points Choice will allow guests to collect points on one brand and apply them to another within the group.

What’s changing

Up to now, each brand under the Royal Caribbean Group umbrella has run its own separate loyalty scheme:

  • Crown & Anchor Society for Royal Caribbean International
  • Captain’s Club for Celebrity Cruises
  • Venetian Society for Silversea Cruises

That meant points earned with one line couldn’t be used elsewhere — even if you cruised across the group regularly.

The new Points Choice programme changes that. You’ll still earn points as usual for each sailing, but you’ll now be able to choose which brand’s loyalty programme they apply to, no matter which ship you’re sailing on.

A quick example

If you’ve built up Crown & Anchor status with Royal Caribbean but decide to sail with Celebrity Cruises, the points from your Celebrity voyage can still count towards your Royal Caribbean status. Alternatively, you can direct them towards Captain’s Club to level up there instead.

This flexibility only applies to points earned after Points Choice launches, so any previous points remain with their original programme.

Why it matters

This update brings real benefits for cruisers who enjoy mixing up their holidays across the Royal Caribbean Group’s portfolio. You can now:

  • Explore new ships and experiences without losing loyalty progress
  • Earn more consistent rewards across different cruise lines
  • Simplify your loyalty tracking under one flexible umbrella

It’s a smart move that gives travellers more choice while encouraging exploration of different styles — from Royal Caribbean’s mega-ships to Celebrity’s modern luxury and Silversea’s ultra-luxury voyages.

What stays the same

  • Tier matching between the three programmes will continue.
  • Perks and benefits for each loyalty scheme remain unchanged.
  • Details on point conversion and eligibility will be announced closer to launch.

What to keep in mind

  • Only new points earned after early 2026 will be interchangeable.
  • Keep an eye on your loyalty dashboard for updates once the rollout begins.
  • It’s the perfect time to branch out to another brand within the group — your points will follow.

Final thoughts

At Vitamin Sea UK, we’re all for moves that make cruising more flexible and rewarding. This change opens up a world of choice for travellers who want to experience more than one style of sailing without starting their loyalty journey from scratch.

Whether it’s a week of adventure on Royal Caribbean, a touch of sophistication with Celebrity, or all-out luxury aboard Silversea, your loyalty will finally travel with you.
